Have you filed your taxes yet?

Did you end up owing money? We just filed ours last weekend and we ended up owing money for federal and getting money back from the state so overall we ended up with a $300 refund. Not a lot but considering my husband owns his own business and doesn't pay taxes all year I think that is pretty good. We had a lot of deductions though, especially $15,000 for daycare and $20,000 for my student loans for Grad School + many others business related.

I owe. I made the big mistake of using my pension fund to cover expenses during a period of unemployment. I am waiting until Tuesday to file.

We didn't owe but I filed in January because I wanted to get it over with. We got back about 4300 in federal and a whopping 40 in state. Pretty good. No real deductions just the kids helped and some school expenses!
