What do you usually do when you feel down and lonely?

Life is beautiful but there are days when one feels sad and it feels like we are at our lowest ebb.

I remembered one of my teachers told us that the best way she thought is just to go to bed and have a good sleep. I tried that several times. However, I think we should be more optimistic towards the loneliness and depression. Then, I think the best one is to doing sports, and usually with others. It is really good for our physical and psycological health. Usually, the more time you spend hashing over the matter, the worse you feel. So, why not have a fun and forget it? we can make it!

Exercise is my best friend when I am feeling that way. I take a nice brisk walk until I work up a little sweat and it seems to clear my mind and cheer me up. Being a member here at myLot might help out as well. We have some wonderful people here who share great advice. Whenever I feel sad or lonely, I use to get out of everything and tryto involve myself in some activity, like I use to watch a movie, or internet surfing, or try to reach my better half as with him I am always at my true aspect.....so I can share with him anything and he lets me collect all the courage That I am actually lack off.....I think to kill loneliness is not at all an easy task, once it is on our head, we are really depressed with our life.....so i most of the times try to get diverted my mind with engaging myself in some or other activity

I know there are plenty of people worse off than me. If I ever feel sorry for myself.. I soon snap out of it knowing that I am not starving with hunger, or lost my home or sleeping rough. We've got a lot to be grateful for. We each meet only a few people we can really trust and rely on in life. Why give your time and energy to people who don't deserve it and who have their own faults.
