I personally signed up with www.link-choices.com when I first started my blog. They send you link requests and it is a good way to get links back to your websites or blogs. There are a couple more sites like this out there, but this one has been the easiest for me to use so far. I also use the blogexplsion.com that someone else mentioned and I love it. Hope this helps. Oh, and yes it is completely free. The only thing you have to do is put the links up on your site. lol
