Have you ever made a mistake answering or commenting a discussion?

Last night I started a discussion yesterday about google AdWords and this morning I saw an answer that had nothing to do with my discussion. They gave the URL of a site and were asking to sign under them. So I answered the person and I said thanks but I am asking a question about Google AdWords. Meaning your answer has nothing to do with my question! Well now I signed to mylot and looked at my question again to see if somebody answered but there is 0 answers! Freaked out! I answered the wrong discussion! I looked into the discussions I answered and I can't find it! So now I think what happened is I opened a discussion thinking that it's mine and read the answer or maybe the discussion itself and I commented that it's has nothing to do with my subject! I just can't find where I did it to at least explain myself.

Yes yes yes.... VotreAmie, you are right. I have seen your comment yesterday in the discussion you mentioned. I repeat I have seen. I had tried to respond, but failed as I had been disconnected. I have also checked it today and found 0 response. With my little experience in Mylot, I think it might have been removed by administrator as you had commented negatively. Yes of course the response was violating mylot's terms & conditions. It's a good step by mylot, if it's fact. Alternatively, you may insert any key phrase of your comment in mylot search box. I think it may work.

Thank you Ronimas for this information. I sure am glad that Mylot removed my comment. I was embarrassed and now I am relieved because no one will read my silly comment anymore.

I also experience to make some errors in responding a month ago, I thought I am replying to the discussion that I have chosen but it was not really the topic that I have chosen, so my response is far from the topic.

Hi Jamian. That's funny heh? I am discovering that I am not alone! It's quite embarrassing to do that. If you are lucky to find the discussion where you made the wrong answer or comment you can explain yourself so people would not think bad about you. But in my case I couldn't find where I did it. But a friend answered here and she thinks my comment was deleted by mylot people because it was offensive lol

I have done this before too. I wish we could edit our comments and discussions but mylot does not seem to see a need for this. When I get tired, I make so many typos that people must think that I am just plain stupid.

Yes it would be useful to many people. If this feature was available I would have found my comment and apologize instead of being seen as rude or silly.

I answered a discussion regarding posting pictures on this site. I thought that I was on like 200 posts and they let me add pics, only to look later and see I was up to over 700 posts. I tried to find the discussion that I posted this on and couldn't. The myloters in that discussion must think I am a real looser! Mistakes happen.

That's exactly how I feel! People would think what is she talking about? It's her own answer that has nothing to do with the subject. Yes it is hard to find the discussion where we made the mistake especially when it's a comment not an answer.
