Many years ago my 65 chevy impala was stolen and i was wondering if there is a site somewhere that you can put in your vin number and see if someone has registered the car somewhere

Did you report it? There is a website to check and see if cars have been in an accident so you can check when purchasing a used one..try checking there first..I wish I could remember what it was called..maybe someone else here does. Also you could maybe check the motor vehicles dept, in many states..
