Teaching while playing

I taught my 20 months son 1-2-3 while running in the drawing room. He started speaking this at 20 months of age. Now whenever he gets chance to run he says on-do-thee. This is so sweet. What do you say about this ? Isn't it a good idea to teach your kids something?
