Days like Mine.. Friday the 13th??

When I got up this morning there was a great surprise waiting, The hubby got his income taxes back and he tells me "you can go car hunting." It was raining and pretty nasty out but I thought what the Hey I am gonna go.The forcast called for some snow , but this is kansas and there was lightning and thunder so here I go thinking again It isnt going to snow.I drove 30 miles to the next town and took my daughter for lunch and while we were eating the rain turns into ice balls, and by the time we get to the car there is more snow falling than we had all winter. I had to drive 30 miles back home @ 35 miles ph. We watched 4 cars go off in the ditch , but made it home without mishap.We did have the baby with us so I was a total wreck worrying about getting us home in one piece.
Ever have a day like mine when you are soo excited about something good happening and something like this happens to you? My daughter says Friday the 13 th!

Good things get dampened with awful things
I bet you must have been scared I have driven in all types of Weather as in my last Job that I ever did I was traveling a lot and I know it is scary but having a Baby in the car makes it even worse I am so glad that you got home safe and sound

I agree with you Jeanena. There are times when you have a really bad day. But it is also a coincidence that it also happpened on Friday the 13th. Years ago, I also dread that day until I saw the movie "The Da Vinci Code". It was well explained in the movie on how we got that name. Its something like the church going after the members of the priory of scion and killing most of them on that day. So now, I'm no longer affected by the day.

When you think of it , it was really a lucky day for you because you were not one of the cars in the ditch , I always think of 13 as my lucky number , Never won anything on ot though lol , but I always pick it a lottery ticket or something like that I hope you have better weather today ,we have had a lovely sunny day here and it was brilliant , as you know it was my birthday , thank you so much for the lovely message , meant a lot to me xxxx

ive had days that start out looking fantastic and end up in the sh*tter! lol i think we all have of course.
but i can honestly say that ive never had one of those days on Friday the 13th. for some reason Friday the 13th has always been a pretty decent if not good day for me.
