What is the most expensive gift you've ever gave to someone? On my mother's birthday last week. I intend to bought her a new scarf. Orange scarf to match her new dress. The scarf is not too expensive, but on the way home, a naughty pick pocket grab my bags and I lost my wallet, my money, my ATM card and my Handphone. Only the scarf left and this become the most expensive gift I ever gave.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss! Yes, it does make it an 'expensive' present! I do hope that you were able to cancel your ATM card and block your phone quickly and thus minimise the expense. It leaves one out of pocket and with a nasty feeling, nevertheless.
The most expensive gift I ever gave, I think, was when I married my wife. I gave her to share everything that I owned and was. Many people these days either do not consider what they are giving when they marry or seem to think it too high a price to pay. Money one can always earn more of and almost anything that it can buy is replaceable; more than half of my life is somewhat more precious than that.

Thank you for your advise. I did blocked my ATM and my phone. I agree with you, Your gift to your wife for sharing is precious and will be the most expensive one. I choose you comment as the best one
