Just before the world cup, I had seen it on Tej, an Indian news channel from india today, that said---" Sachin aur Dhoni iss world cup mein chha jaenge", i.e., Sachin and Dhoni will put on great performances. Well, I would say- "kya khaak chha gaye hain?"? I think that this is just wild guessing work and I feel that such kind of programmes should not be allowed to fool us. And anyways, news channels are meant for news and not these kinds of shows. What is your opinion?

I think it is really stupid for us to really believe in things like Tarot Card. News channels are doing it for obvious reasons because they want to attract people who believe in such things. So they would continue to do this. So I don't think any this stopping, but I personally flip channels when such things come up as I find it completely stupid to watch it. Cheers! Ram

"chha jaenge..." It is correct(negatively), you can see the after effect. Just joking. In fact speculations regarding the performance of individual cricketers and the team India as a whole will go on in different forms - from Card Reading, Ex-Cricketers' comments, to the Experts' reviews; actually these are the stuff that have kept the game alive in India. It is so sad to observe that the game is popular more due to promotion and less due to performance. We have always struggled hard to perform abroad which is not a great signature for a team supported by 110 Crore die-hard fans. Apart from few scattered success and individual efforts, we have mostly failed to consistently perform as a team. But I'm optimistic and that's why I took part in this discussion. Hope to see India rising the highest peak in the cricket world shortly powered by young talents of the vastly populated nation. A tough job ahead for the BCCI appointed selectors.

See let me be very clear,Firstly our expectations should be to certain level, secondly no songs should be released saying we will bring the cup back ,thirdly no tarot card should or any kind of astrology be used to predict our team performing well. The reality should be will we make up to final with our cricket or blessing and palmastry.
