bodily marks,sore,sensation of pain in locations corresponding to the wounds of jesus at crucifixion.the term originates from the line at the end of saint paul's letter to the galatian where he said that his body bear of jesus mark which is mark rendered to the vulgate bible is stigmata.the individual bearing stigmata is called stigmatic. this terms until now considerable debated,is it true or hoax.but,the last new i heard about this terms is,the major stigmatic reported are female.
