Dreams: do they really mean something?

My mom told me once that if you dream of your teeth falling off then it means that someone you know have either just passed away or is about to. A month after dreaming that my teeth fell out, a very good friend of mine passed away. This happened last year. Was this just a coincidence or is it true? Do you dream of anything that subsequently become a reality?

Dreams can be very creepy sometimes. Dreaming of water can mean you are about to catch a cold. I guess its all a coincidence as it does not happen all the time. I'm sure I've dreamed of water about 4 times in a year but only caught a cold once.

I have dreamt quite a few time about my teeths falling. I am just confused by just one fact that how come so many people have simillar dreams ! Its amazing isn't it ? Lot of people reflect that dreams represent what you think in your whole day . But I don't think that any body would have a thought that all his teeths are falling suddenly while he is awake.

For someone with false teeth then it would be possible for them to fall off while awake. lol Some dreams do reflect what happened during the day. It brings me in deep thought when I wake up wondering what I did the day before as it may be an answer to a problem.

I have not dreamed anything like that. I have dreamed that something was after me and I had a hard time getting away. I finally woke up and was shaking and covered with sweat. I do there are certain meaning for what you dream. I don't know what the meanings are because I have never gone and studied into it. But it is said that your dreams give you a message.

There are books that can interpret dreams. I once tried to compare what the books said about my dreams with the events that happened before and after the dream. Well, the book was wrong.

I think maybe your mother are jocking to you!It is true that sometimes I have the same experience like you.For example, the experience in my dream will be true.It is really puzzled me a lot!So maybe,I think,it is God who is joking to us.But at any time you should not dream anything bad about your frends!Do you think so?

It is kinda weird when dreams do come true. If only I could dream of winning the lottery then see it come true. :o)

I think it is nothing but a coincidence.I have also heard so many of this beliefs, but any such thing not yet happened to me. I have nerver seen a dream of falling teeths. But one thing I sometimes see in my dreams, that is I am falling or just about to fall from somewhere. At that very moment,I feel afraid then my sleep breaks and I find my heart is beating in a high speed. It only happened when I feel my sleep is just coming, it is just a mid-point of sleeping and awakening state. I feel very bad, but I am helpless, it happens to me sometimes.

I do have that dream too sometimes. I don't know what it means. Sometimes I feel afraid to fall asleep straight away but I eventurally fall asleep again.

How do you find out what your dreams mean? Do you use a book or is there a meaning that's been passed down onto you from friends or family? The meanins I know of have been passed down to me from parents mainly.

I think for you it was just mere coincidence. Me, well, I've never dreamed of my teeth falling off. I do think dreams can mean something. But I don't think any specific dream relates to any specific real-life event. Dreams are different for everyone, and you need to interpret them for yourself. Dreams are not supposed to have one universal meaning, like if your teeth fall off then someone you know will die. The meaning of a dream should be unique to every person, because everyone leads a different life. Only you or those extremely close to you can help you interpret your dreams and find out what they mean. And of course, sometimes they don't have meaning. Dreams are mysterious things, so pay attention is all. ;)
