I have to admit I am one to take on anything that comes my way. I have a hard time saying no to people and I sometimes think I am superwoman. I like to help people. Right now, I am extremely overwhelmed. I have 2 children who i love dearly. A 5 year old and a disabled child 22 months. He gets therapy 5 times a week for 2 hours each time, numerous dr. appointments, requirements for special programs and on top of the that is my other child. I volunteer at school, she also is receiving speech therapy and I take her to dance class 2 times a week. Housework, and I take care of my grandmother daily as well,dr.appointments, errands, cleaning, etc. I don't know how much more I can take. Sometimes I feel like things will never end. Do you take on too much, have you ever felt overwhelmed?

yes.. sometimes i feel that way too. had first job only 17years old, feeding my 2 younger brothers, my mom. when i started getting married, my mom got 2nd stadium cancer. me and my husband got less money to find better medical service to mymoms. almost everynight i cried to my lord, wishing any help that i can get through all my test. and the end i find outthat god will not gives us any test if we can not afford. so, i give my troubles/problems back into my lord, and surprise, i found many ways to get out all my trouble. thanks lord

I am alot like you if someone asks me to do something I find it hard to say no. I have been that way my whole life. I have helped a couple of my siblings in raising their children as well as raising my own three kids. My daughter is a special needs child, she was born with a heart condition as well as her tailbone never fully developed so she needed to be catherized for the first couple years of her life. I use to be a foster parent until I adopted my two little boys who have ADHD, ODD, and possibly bipolar. I take care of my mom who had a stroke a few years back as well. I know what you are saying about sometimes feeling overwhelmed but please remember that God doesn't give you anymore then he thinks you can handle.I'm not going to say that life is going to become simple but it does get a little easier as the children grow.

Yes, I have been overwhelmed several times. I thought i was superman and can handle every stress i encounter i guess i was wrong. At first i tried to handle every small and big things , until i found my self exhausted and can no longer take any more. Wow! it wasn't really nice I found my self always in a bad mood and full of dandruff because of stress. I was falling apart and i sounded like i was the culprit in movie. Then worst is i found myself crying because i can no loner take it. Now, i am trying to take things lightly and i only handle the things i can take. Goodluck!
