Finding the perfect bra

It's important to try on a bra before buying it. But most people skip fitting it. They assume that if it comes in the same size as the ones they're wearing, it has the same fit, too. And another reason for not trying it on is that most shoppers find it quite embarassing. What about you, do you try on a bra first before buying it?

always because different brand names have different sizes... although I will never get fitted at a Sears ever again... she fit me for one 4 sizes too big around... I always go to Addition-elle because they fit me properly... for instance before I started shopping there I thought I was a DD but bras were always uncomfortable on me... then the lady was looking at the fit and told me "honey I want you to try on one size bigger" so I did and oh boy was that comfort... only problem is that for me to get a good comfortable bra it costs me $50 per bra... so expensive

You said a mouthful. I, too have that same problem. I usually go to a small lingerie boutique in Dallas, but sometimes I just have to grin and bear it because of the cost. I try to buy one new bra a month, and that way I can just add it to my regular budget.

Different style means different fit even if it is of the same size.

I don't find it embarrassing to try on bras. I have to try them on, too, otherwise I am afraid they will not fit me properly. I am picky about the way they fit and only like certain types. Although if I already own the same exact bra and am just getting more in different colors or something I won't try them on.
