Right now my 2 year old is in Huggies and my infant is in pampers baby dry. The pampers were a gift, but the huggies I bought because I got a 170 pack for $37 at costco. But I am torn and not sure which brand I like best. I also got a free pampers cruisers that I really liked. So I am torn on which brand and kind to buy when I run out. What brand did you or do you use and can you tell me why? I havent had any leaks with the pampers baby dry, but a couple with the huggies after he wakes up in them morning. Thanks!

We use cloth diapers. Mostly pockets like fuzzi bunz or some handmade ones by work at home mothers. We have a lot of different types. He never have leaks or rashes in them, it's great and cheap!

I was thinking about using fuzzi bunz, even bought some with hemp liners, but I haven't had the motivation to actually try them :( How do they get when they are wet?

Since they have fleece inside, it wicks away moisture into the insert inside. You'll have to change them more often than disposables since you can tell better when they are wet.

I usually used the target brand unless some other one was on sale. I was not picky and I can't remember if any of them were really bad. My kids have been out of daiapers for a long time. However, my daughter still wears pullups at night because of bed wetting ishues.

We usually use Huggies Supreme or Pampers Baby Dry on my 14 month old. We didn't like the way that the plain Huggies fit. And when we bought him Pampers Cruisers, we loved the way they worked, but he got a rash from them. We switched back to Huggies Supreme and waited about a month and tried the Cruisers again, and he got the rash again, so I'm pretty sure it was a reaction to them. It seems like he gets rashes with Pampers Baby Dry every once in a while, but very rarely, usually only if we put him in one and then put him down for the night. So we usually just use them during the day. He always sleeps in a Huggies Supreme diaper. We get Baby Dry diapers only when they are on sale and we have a coupon. We recently got an awesome deal at Target when they were rearranging our store and getting rid of certain sizes of packages of diapers. We got two boxes of like 104 size 4 Baby Dry diapers for less than $10 each. We had $2 off coupons so they were an even better deal. We have used Luvs when they've been on sale and thought they were okay. The main issue we had with them was that we had to buy him the next size up, because the Luvs are a lot shorter than the Pampers or Huggies. My baby is really tall (32.5 inches) and pretty thin (25 lbs), though. If your baby is average size, you might be able to get by with the same size. I just checked out two other discussions on diapers, so I don't remember if it was mentioned here or not, but if you sign up with Pampers, Huggies, and Luvs websites they will send you coupons and samples.

I used Pampers Baby Dry. I tried Huggies but found that my kids always woke up wet in the mornings, and so we switched to Pampers Baby Dry. I never had any leaks, and they also do a brand that has a lotion in them to help prevent diaper rash. I'm just thankful that I'm past the stage of buying diapers lol, because those things are not cheap! Potty training was the best thing I ever did.

I like huggies. I've used pampers before and they leaked not sure if it was the cruisers I don't think it was b/c they weren't out when I did use them. I've used the white cloud and don't really care for them. I think they are made cheap and it shows. My friend however loves them. I've also used luvs and was not happy with them either. So I will stick with my huggies. I always wanted to try the cloth diapers but hubby says no b/c we would spend just as much on washing as we would save on the cost of. I think its b/c he does the clothes sometimes and doesn't want to clean them lol.

I have tried pampers and huggies. I don't like the normal huggies but the supremes aren't too bad. I currently use pampers baby dry. I used to buy the cruisers but since Pampers came out with the stretchy baby dry I've bought those. They work just about the same. I LOVE PAMPERS.. they hold in poop (so it doesnt go up the babys back)so much better than huggies. I've heard that pampers suck for boys though. One plus, Pampers actually have points so you can get free toys and other products just for buying their diapers. Who doesnt love free? Huggies doesnt do that.

I use Huggies and I really like them. FOr my daughter we used Luvs and I tried those for my son and did not like them anymore. I love the stretchiness of the Huggies and I have not had any leaks with them.

well, i actually used pampers rash guard for my oldest, they don't sell those anymore, but those were the best diapers i have ever used. my second oldest used huggies and they worked fine, not as good as the rash guards, but when i had my daughter i decided to try luvs, and they work just as well as huggies, so now she's 19 mos and i use target brand, they're cheap but there is no difference b/w those and any other diaper i've used except for rash guards. so i have used all brands and well there is really no major difference b/w them. none that i would totally brag about except rash guards but they don't sell those anymore.

I use Luvs for my son. I also like the pampers ones but I usually just end up buying the big box of luvs at walmart because I get the extra diapers in the ones there..

I am a Pampers fan and this is the one I use all the time . I was never fussy on Huggies as I found there were to many leaks with them . Most of the people I know are either a big Pampers fan or a Huggies fan . For some reason , some find Pampers hold better and others find Huggies hold better , for me I have always found that Huggies would leak during the night and then I would have to bath my girls when they woke up in the morning and would have to strip everything down and this was with me changing them during the night and just was too much work . I also love the Pampers Cruisers but they cost more and don't do any different so I have only ever got them once when they were on sale . Best of luck in finding what works best for you :)

I've tried Pampers Swaddlers, Pampers Baby Dry, Huggies Supreme, Huggies, Luvs, and Seventh Generation diapers. The Pampers Swaddlers and Pampers Baby Dry are my favorites. Huggies are good too, although the fit seems to run a bit smaller, so my daughter grows out of them faster. Neither have leaked on me. The Huggies Supreme diapers I am not a big fan of. I'm trying my hardest to use those up at the moment so I can go back to Pampers. Luvs were AWFUL!!! I hated them and only used like 4 or 5 out of the package, so I still have an entire package of Luvs diapers that are just sitting in the closet that will never get used. I'm not quite sure what to do with them. Seventh Generation diapers were awesome, and I will probably pick up a case of them soon, but they do take a little getting used to. They're the stretchiest diapers we've used so far, which means a great fit, but I don't like the velcro on them as well. Great diapers overall, though. Very absorbant, very stretchy, and I love the unbleached cotton look of them and the fact that they're plain and don't have cartoon characters on them. The only reason I'm going to go back to Pampers for awhile is because I have like 15 coupons for $1.50-$3.00 off Pampers. In fact, if you'd like some of my Pampers coupons, please let me know. I'd be happy to mail you a few since I don't want them to go to waste and I can't possibly use them all before they expire. I also have a few Huggies coupons as well.

well when my son was born I tried the dollar general brand real cheap ones lol. But he got rashes from them so I had to go for walmart ones. He could use them then when he was 9 months old I could use the dollar store ones without any trouble. Hopet his helps you out.

I tend to use the No name brands I mean for the amount of time they are in them and what they do to them they just get thrown out. If I do have the extra money I like to buy pampers for night time use only. Overall I wish I could have used those cloth ones which are to be better for baby and environment.

That is true too! I bought a no name brand before and it leaked everywhere within an hour! So i stayed clear, but I am sure there are better no name brands out there, considering like you said, they don't wear em long.

I prefered the Pampers. I think they are better, especially when it comes to control leaks. And they are also friendly to babies' sensitive skin. My kids experienced having rashes with huggies, not with pampers. So I love pampers better. Have a nice day 4cuteboys! (^^,)

It really depends on what works best for your little one. With mine, it was Huggies. I tried Pampers on him and they leaked. Huggies seem to fit him better. Every kid is different. I would just go for whatever works best for them and wherever I can get a good deal.

i use cloth diapers. my baby is very sensitive to synthetics tho so i started making my own out of cotton fabric. it is so easy to use cloth diapers, you don't need pins or covers for many of them. i find that they fit better, are cuter, are cheaper, and absorb more...what is there to not like about them. and another note, think of how unsanitary disposable diapers really are...i mean all that feces taht doesn't get flushed??? even tho even on the packages of those disposable diapers they indicate the solid waste to be thrown in the toilet and disposed of properly, now how many people that use disposables really dispose of their childs solid waste properly??? that's just gross to me.

Originally we used huggies & they worked well but when my daughter was crawling she wasn't quite big enough for the crawler nappies which meant if we put her in them, they'd leak or if we used the infant ones they leaked too coz of her crawling! We ended up trying a few brands, we have here (Australia) a brand called V.I.P & they do a pretty good job, but lately i have been buying a brand called BabyLove. We are yet to have any problems so i think we'll stick to these - if they don't work well enough when she goes to a bigger size we'll try some others. I think the main problem is that she's in crawlers but is walking so the sizing is a bit off (weight for the nappy compared to what they're doing) but if you have them, i'd give BabyLove a shot!

I always used Luvs... they were the only ones that were true to their size and also much cheaper than Pampers and Huggies. Huggies always leaked, were smaller than they should have been and seemed harder than the other diapers. Pampers were ok but the most expensive. My son now is almost potty trained but wears Pull Ups by Huggies at night to prevent bed wetting.
