I always get a thrill when...

I love that feature of mylot too! I get all excited when I see numbers beside the friends. I also believe the internet is fantastic. I live in Canada and my parents are in the States, so I email them daily. Plus I have other family and friends all over the world.

It certainly is, even better when friends actually respond to your discussions, many don't though which is kinda sad.

I can't agree with you more--it's sometimes mind-boggling to think that I can be connected with people from England, Germany..etc...at this other place I hang out with..the Lord Of the Rings Fanatic Plaza, I always take a peek at their profiles and discover some of my friends there are from India, Croatia, Sweden,Australia!! And then there's instant messenger...holy moly...ever do that? Same thing...mind=boggling--and yes...Its nice to come here and see familiar faces or should I say avatars LOL around--still love your kitty avatar

I have loved myLot so far. This makes my 3rd day and it has been really fun. I also like meeting new people. And I'm glad we get paid for basically doing that! =)
