I mean i did achieve many things in life but i think im much more thinking of the career achievement which i still dont have and im still single but i have 1 week to go to decide whether i will go or not. you should be proud of yourself. attending reunions isn't really a time to boast your achievements and boast where you are now. it's actually getting back to your old friends in school and mostly, you talk about the past and usually laugh about it. it's really fun to attend such gatherings. i suggest you do yourself a favor and attend. it's nice to meet old friends and classmates. after all, you might not know when it is you'll gonna see them again.

No, I don't like attending school reunions. People there tend to judge and compare each other. I would rather attend a gathering of close school friends than school reunions. I feel much comfortable around people I know.

You have to go there, as this is only a once in a lifetime chance to meet and greet again your fellow students, friends, classmates, former advisers and teachers.
You don't need to tell everyone about your life, just try to cherish the moment and have a good chat with them. Afterall, this is one of the good part in living a high school life, as I really missed those days.
You are lucky you were informed, as I didn't had a chance to go through this reunion thing. Me and my cousin were not informed, so we were both dismayed to the fact that we were forgotten by some of our friends there. They say it's good to experience once again those people and the things that became a part of our lives, just try and do your best to re-live it and enjoy!;)

Hi cheenly, i do know how you feel. First and foremost, did you enjoy your time in that school? Were there many friends you made and had memorable times with?
I went through the same situation just last year. I was thinking twice even thrice or four times if i should go heheheh I switched from accounting to teaching and thought the others will be some hot shot and real high flyers except for me.
Lucky for me, hubby was very supportive. He asked me what is my objective. It's an open invitation and no one forces me to go or wants me to feel miserable. It's suppose to be fun and enjoyable and catching up with long lost friends. Who you are or what you do even what you have achieved is secondary.
Go with an open heart if you so decide to. Get know the friends you've lost- sincerely. You really do not have anything to be ashamed of. Good luck ! - Lyn

I have never been to my high school reunion. I never felt like going because like you I didn't feel like I had done anything to be proud of. I wasn't a working woman, I am just a plain ole housewife that (was at the time)trying to raise 4 kids (now 2). But I've learned that you don't have to "be" or "achieve" anything to go to a reuinion. Just to be alive and healthy to be able to go to a reunion is reason enough! Go! Be proud!

I went to mine 15th high school reunion but didn't go to the 25th I don't know if they had it or not. I think you should go and see your friends and see how much they have changed I know you will have a great time. Hope you decided to go.

You'll miss half of your life cheenlly and you'll be missing a lot of fun outhere. Yes, a great career and achievement will be the main topic that will be discussed in that event but I hope you won't think too much about that. Just think of your friends outhere who are I believe very eager to see you and get acquainted with you again. Who knows you'll find a better opportunity through your friends. You don't need that pride of not wanting to show up. Be cool and just be yourself.
