When my kids were small there was a book called The Biggest Sandwich Ever. I used to read it to them and let them look at the pictures before I gave them lunch. It used to make them hungry because that sandwich was bigger than a house, and the character in the story had helpers climbing up ladders to put things on the sandwich, and also hellicopters dropping things like pickles and tomato slices on top of the sandwich. I recently tried to find the book for my grandaughter, but it's no longer in print.

This sounds really good to get your child hungry because they will associate the book with food shame it's no longer in print.

My daughter loves books about animals. She wants to grow up to be like Steve Erwin. My middle child loves anything to do with dogs. He wants to train dogs when he gets old enough. My youngest child doesn't really have a favorite book. He just loves for people to read to him.
