Do you have a special place in your home you go to for comfort?

The livingroom is the center of activity in our home. When I need to get away I usually go to my bedroom and close the door. I read or lie down and listen to music or watch the tv in the bedroom. Sometimes Maxxx my dog comes and lays on the bed while I am relaxing.

No special place at the momment, but I assure you this is being worked on. I can't seem to get a time out from my children or wife ....lol:-) I will soon have one room in the house that will be mine and only mine,the kings room, with a lock on the door, & sign that says ...... "NO WOMEN OR CHILDREN" .....(LMAO)Oh, maybe even security!

Yes my bathroom. If I want to chill out I run a nice hot bath, light some candles, grab a good book and a vodka and coke and shut the door. I can be in there for hours if the mood takes me. I live alone as well so it's not as if there is anyone else to disturb me anyway (well apart from the cat) but it's just the place where I can destress the most effectively.

As I live alone (no humans) just me and my dogs. My whole house is comfy just to my taste and the way I want it. I have had my share of needng to find a place to chill so I think I have earned having my own place.

I am always away from home, I seldom have time to stay at home. So when I am back home, I find that every place home is so wonderful. I like the time to stay with my parents. Also, my parents would be very pleased if I can stay at home for one days or two. My mother always prepare lots of dishes and foods that I like...it is good to stay at home

I actually do now that I'm moving into my new home i had a sun porch which is something I have always wanted .I plan to paint it all white.It had six nice six windows. I have bought 4 nice bamboo blinds and I have lots of nice hand blown glass ornaments and wind chimes and plants and I bought a nice wicker chair and table for my lap top and i know i will enjoy many hours just sitting there watching my harbor view and waiting for the sunset Cheryl

ya i almost got the same things uve got! except dat tons of pillow i ve got only two! :( LOL n ya my bed room is my place to comfort myself!

it's not a particular place,,,but it's my bedroom....wher i go for some relaxation....to relax,,,i close off the lights and listen to soothing music....dat makes me little bit sleepy and finally i go into my dreamz....

ya i too have a room , a small study room , where ui keep only my things. so that is a place which knows my happiness and sadness .it has seen all. it is the plac e where i can study a book peacefully. i feel iam within my world when i sit inside that room. before 3 yrs i got married. so i had to leave my parents house to make a new living. in this new hosue i havnt got such a ideal place like my old room. anyway change is the onyl constant thing in the world.

Your room sounds idyllic and just the sort of bedroom I would like to have. I'm lucky in that I have my home to myself. I've only been here just over a year and still have things I want to do; curtains, furniture, painting. What i would really love is a TV in my bedroom. However the arial is way at the other end of the house where the loungeroom is. :(

i have no other choices except my bedroom. i spend most of the time in my bedroom when i am at home. that is where my computer, tv, and cd player are kept. i love to be alone in my room where nobody can disturb me. i can sleep anytime i want and can do anything i want.

my special place in my home is my bedroom, because i feel confortable there , i have a tv , a computer , books and everything that i want .

My bedroom. I love to sit on my bed and read, usually i have a pile of books on my bed that i read from. Also my computer is right beside the bed for easy access.

my bedroom is the most comfortable place in our house. i have a computer with internet connection, a bed with lots of pillows, and a cabinet full of books so it's the perfect place for me to just hang out and relax

My comfort room is also my bedroom. I can go in there cuddle in the bed - read, watch TV, or play on the computer. Or do all the things together if I so choose. Its just so comfortable and I love days or night when I can go in there and just relax and kind of hide.

My most comfort place is in my living room I sit in my recliner with a hot cup of coffee by reading or watching tv.

Not really. I just go to my computer, which is in the den and begin to surf. I also sometimes go to my room, as it is rather quiet and has a comfortable chair. I can even take my laptop in there should I wish.

Well I am finally starting to get my room cozy like. I have a ton of pillows I want to add to one part of my room with my pink cozy chair. Once that is done then I will have lots of fun sitting there. I love that chair as much as my bed or desk to go on my laptop. So my room is defently my chill out place I can do whatever I want. I shared a room with my sister most of my life, just moved in November and finally we have our own rooms. So yeah room defently the place to go.

I am the same with you,the comfortable place is in my bedroom.In my holiday,I don't like to go out to much,a lot of time I just stay at my bedroo,surfing on the web,reading a novel,listening to music and so on,which is enjoyable for me.

For me it is my scrapbook/computer room because it is my place and nobody is allowed in here really.
