Hello mylotters, I am just wondering because im one of those people without an avatar or display pictures. But please be honest about this question. Do you judge people by their avatars or display pictures? I mean if someone has the default picture and is making his way nearly towards a thousand post, do you think this person is not taking his time to do other things on mylot? I think that people should not be judged by this. I mean it is just a simple picture, and mylot IS a place to post and discuss! So does it really matter? Your opinions?

Sometimes, I must admit that I do judge people when they have a default avatar. It is really difficult to recognize everyone with the default pic because a lot of people have them. I think it is very simple to get an avatar, so why not? It is a good way to present yourself ot others.

I am not one to judge a person by there avatar. To me avatars are just a picture. Their words display more about them, than what they display as their avatar. To judge a person solely by their avatar is in my opinion stupid.

I would certainly not judge a person by their avatar, or lack of avatar as in your own case. I enjoy seeing a good variety of avatars, but the most important factor for me will always be the quality of discussions and responses posted by a member. I do tend to spend a fair amount of time choosing and uploading new avatars, but that is my personal choice and I cannot consider a person to be wrong because their interests are different to mine.
