"Disturbia" vs "Rear Window"

What do you think of "Disturbia" being compared to a modern twist to the classic Hitchcock's "Rear Window"??

I haven't seen Rear Window, but . . . when I saw the coming attractions for Distubria it reminded me of the '80s vampire movie, Fright Night. It has a very similar storyline, though instead of a vampire, the next door neighbor is just your run-of-the-mill madman. *laugh out loud* I plan on seeing it for that reason alone.
