Do you have any pet peeves? Things that happen normally but tick you off? I was doing laundry today and it seemed that i couldnt get the hangers apart. It seems that they are joined together somehow...does that happen to you?? Wikipedia describes a pet peeve as "a minor annoyance that can instill frustration in one..." Another one is waiting in the grocery line, while i know waiting is a part of life, i really don't like it... How about people who mumble? Telemarketers (while i know they have to make a living too, they usually call right at supper time! Also people who are late! Whats your list?

I am pregnant, so the past few months everything has been a pet peeve of mine. :) It drives me nuts when you are standing in a line and the person behind you stands too close. I know this one is petty, but I hate seeing a tip cup at Dunkin Donuts (I always throw my change in though) Another pet peeve...If someone asks a question, and I respond no, and they keep pushingme to change my mind. I will make this my last one...When my husband asks if I am in a bad mood, and when I say no, he comes back with "well just checking, 'cause you seem moody".

Ok, I had to add this. When you are in a public restroom, and you see people walking out without washing their hands! Then I have to go put my hand on the same door handle they just put their pee covered hand on. (Extreme, I know) LOL

I would tell him if I wasn't in a bad mood before, I am now because you are asking me stupid questions! But I share that little peeve about the tip cup at dunkin donuts. I'm sorry, I didn't think packing twelve donuts in a box is considered a tip worthy endevour.

I had the same experience this morning in my office, with paper clips! I couldn't get them apart! Also bad/rude/inattentive drivers. I don't mind waiting in the grocery line, except I always seem to get stuck behind that person who waits until the order is all rung up before he/she takes his/her checkbook out, then fumbles for a pen.

Those are some legit pet peeves. : ) I have a few. Like a person who is in the line for a 20 items or less and has like 40! Or parents who let their kids ask you embarassing questions and think it is cute so they let them keep asking you. Being in my mid twenties and suddenly being asked constantly when am I going to get married.

And when family are the ones doing the asking, you've got to maintain a polite persona, because it just comes back to bite you if you don't. LOL

No, my family knows better then to ask that. Usually it's people I work with. The ones I need to maitain a professional relationship with. The ones who don't really know the real me. the one I can't say to them, you know what, shove it where the sun don't shine. But I wish I could.

When people don't answer their mylot discussions. When people bump into me and don't say sorry or excuse me. When people drive down my street with their music so loud and thumping I litterally shake. When men think they can grab my (areas that are not meant for grabbing) When a counter clerk is too busy chatting on their phone to help me When I walk into the kitchen at work in the morning and some one has taken the last cup of coffee and didn't make more. Oh, I'm sure I could go on. But then it would just look like I was complaining.

Oh, oh, oh! I agree with you on the late part. Really, my boyfriend and best friend are ALWAYS late, and I mean always. I would make myself around 5 minutes late when meeting them and they end up arriving still 15 minutes later which I really hate so much. I've heard a quote somewhere that says tardiness is disrespect for other people's time which I totally agree. I was with my boyfriend when we heard that I nudged him and told him to pay attention to the speaker. LOL.

i think i have lots of them! haha..but at the moment the thing that's driving me nuts is when someone keeps asking me the same question, many many times. this guy keeps asking me the same question, and i have to keep repeating my answers over and over again because he couldn't remember a single thing, even when he has jotted it down. .

At home, when my husband leaves food/snacks wrappers everywhere, or when I cannot seem to find his other pair of sock, or when I can't get the supposed taste of the food I'm cooking... At work, when my coworker bosses me around, or when she explains to me again our boss' instructions which I fully have understood, or when our office equipments fail to work at a time when you really needed to use them.
