Patrick O' Brian books: what is your favourite one and why?

Hi all... Did anybody read Patrick O' Brian books concerning the adventures of Jack Aubrey and Stephen Maturin? I love those books: I am italian and until today only a part of the complete cycle has been published in italian language. I read Master and Commander, Post Captain, H.M.S. Surprise, The Mauritius Command, Desolation Island, The Fortune of War, The Surgeon's Mate,The Ionian Mission, Treason's Harbour, The Far Side of The World, The Reverse of the Medal,The letter of Marque and The Thirteen-Gun Salute. What do you think about Jack and Stephen adventures?
