Starting a Blog

I am seriously considering starting a blog but I'm not sure what I want the topic to be about. I have read some of the ones here on MyLot but I still haven't decided what it should be. I don't want to be something that someone else has started one on if I can help it because I don't want to appear to be a copycat. Can any of you who have read the discussions I have started and are my friends too give me some advice on this? I want honest opinions, because if I do this I want to do the best job that I can.
