first of all i'm not a cricket fan,but i feel people who have served country in any ways should be given their dues and sachin is certainly one of them.this week was sooooo bad ,firstly he was served notice and then some foolish people on some even foolish topic sued him.. on cake issue ,i can't think how selfish people can be ,man who has given almost all his life for cricket is charged when no one in this world can ask his commitment and dedication an.... ,and now news are coming he said sorry or almost said and some contra news also,i think sachin should not say sorry even he has to leave indian cricket ,what u say?

I don't think that sachin should say for anything ever possible he has done. I think he is a hero and should be taken as a hero through out his life. There is no question of him resigning from indian team or retiring from active cricket at this point of time.

i think sachin should niether feel sorry or say sorry. the player who has spoken after spending 17 years tells abt the kind of commitment he has for the game besides he has nothing harmful to say he just said that he is shattered and the coach doubted his attitude wats wrong in saying that this politician in bcci are the real scrap they shud be sacked

friend u have hit the bull's eye. this great man has given more than 17 years to indian cricket, he has been asked to give reply from those fools who don't know even abc of cricket; they won't be able to tell what r the ways by which a player can be given out. sachin did nothing wrong ,the coach told him a mafia,it is really a matter of shame that even then bcci is asking to continue with greg chapel as a consultant. sachin replied to greg's comment & he was 100% correct.

s what you are saying correct sachin is really a very great cricketer because of him india won many matches .......... his is also a very brilliant cricketer....he plays his game very well until he get frustrated ....if he feels nervous of chasing he will not play as we seen in many matches this is main reason for his non-captain ship .............he is a legend he should not ask sorry to any stupid commentors........

Sachin should not say sorry. His commitment to the cricket can not be misjudged by anyone. Everyone in india loves him as much as cricket. He has his own respect. His name will live as long as cricket lives

Surely after this world cup elimination all our Indian players are facing a tough time at home.Player like sachin who has the best records among cricket players should not face such criticism. This really shows peoples anger for his non performance.I too feel he his humiliated too much and the media is focussing too much on this cake issue. Hope if his performance and his Indian teams performance was upto the mark i feel this type of issue would not have arised. This happens to all celebrities whenever they are unable to furnish the hopes of people and one cannot expect a person to be at his best all time.

yes... thats definately true.... I totally agree with you. Sachin should not say sorry at all... He has done nothing wrong... First of all he was hurt by the harsh words of Greg Chappell.. So he responded that in his entire carrear of 18 yrs, nobody has said this to him even as a joke.. He is right.. Afterall Chappell has no right at all to talk about the World's best batsman in this way... Moreover these foolish people are jealous about Sachin's popularity, money, and Fame... Thats why they r constantly finding any new idiotic issues... I'm really fed up with the mentality of these people... Sachin is wise enough and he knows well when he should retire... He still has plenty of cricket left in him.. Whenever he feels, he will announce he retirement by himself.. Why these people r bothered about him???? Afterall this man has got almost 40 centuries in Test matches and more than 35 centuries in One Day matches... I cannot understand, how the people can talk like this about a great player... Atlast... I strongly believe that Sachin should not say sorry at all...

i dont realy know what the matter is. what i do know is that dilip had advised him to give such answer. i know in india peaple are just mad about cricket. i was a fan of indian cricket but now i have changed my mind now i am a fan of newzeland cricket team. so now i am not bothered obout indian cricket. but i think sachin should say sorry for all the nonsence going on now in indian cricket. he is always the greatest player the world has ever seen i know what he says he says with it after thinking about it.

Exactly!! Sachin should not say sorry because he has no done any such mistake tha he should apolosed. Every person has the basic right or freedom of speech. So when his commitment towards cricked was in question, he should be vocal. Neither Sachin made any offending comment that could be harmful for Indian Cricket. I know some people will talk about the Team Spirit and unity, but when the problem is within the team, and the matter is serious, one has to break the silence. Otherwise general people and cricket fans could misunderstand him. But if Sachin has to leave Indian Cricket for not apolizising, then it would be a very bitter event in Sachin's as well as the cricket fans'life.

No, for the 'cake' issue but yes for the 'talking to media' issue. The 'cake' issue - it is really a silly issue. People who are making a big fuss about it have no productive work. They just want to get a lil famous at Sachin's Cost. Sachin is as patriotic as any other Indian. The 'talking to media' issue - Sachin, however great a player he maybe has to follow the rules and regulations of BCCI. He has broken one of the rule by speaking to the media for whatever reason it maybe, he should apologise.Sachin is a great player and a great player should set a good example to the youngsters. Being humble does not mean humiliation.
