How much do you bend , twist and stretch ?

Do you like bending your body through exercise or just for the fun of it . I do it through yoga and its great fun . It gives you such a calmness afterwards . I bend by back backwards and as low as i can go . It refreshes the brain instantly when i am very tired . Then sometimes I bend forward standing tall , touching the floor without bending my knees. Sometimes I go on a total stretch upwards from the floor . How much do you bend , twist and stretch ?

I attend a weekly session called Body Balance. It combines Yoga with Tai Chi and involves a lot of bending and stretching. Like you I find the calmness afterwards, and feel like a totally new person when I am driving home afterwards. It also seems good for clearing your mind of all the mundane stresses and thoughts leaving only room for calmness and relaxation. Then I get home and it it back to normal!

Can you throw some light on what tai chi is ? Is it a combination of particular exercises ? Or is it about meditation or a combination of both ? I have heard the term but am dying to know what it really is ?
