Don Imus chose the wrong group

No doubt that this issue would not have gotten nearly as much press if Imus was just talking about some local neighborood girls. If that were the case, it would have only been a NEWS story. Instead, since it was a BASKETBALL team, it was all over ESPN and its affiliates as well as Foxsports and its affiliates. And if that wasn't bad enough, opponents started questioning the accountability of RAPPERS, which means that MTV, VH1, and their affiliates could now get in on it. Imus screwed up royally.
