Our refunds

Well, we got our refunds today - my bro e-filed them & we got them in 6 days! So we went out & blew them! I got $50 of beads & $200 bucks of audio books at half price books.
The roomie got another 500 gig drive, a new camera, a 1 gig memory card for it, the transmiter to get the new roomie on the wireless router, 100 cd+r & 2 pops at Frys. I got cat food at walmart, she got new shoes, some teeshirts, some shorts & a hat, 2 action figures & a key chain for me at the toy store next to the bead store, & we went to 2 goodwills where she dropped $80 all together.
Her check is gone, but I have $ for gas anyway.
We took the new roomie's paperwork to my bro so he could start her taxs & she went by to sign it on Thursday. She was thrilled that she's actually going to get money back, previous years she took them to Jackson-Hewitt & they took all her refund as fees. She's a happy camper that she's my roomie.
I'll bet you that she doesn't blow her check the way we did!

Well i think it is fun to just blow your cash sometimes it is a lot of fun,so i really don't blame you,and you had a lot of fun doing it didn't you? I don't ever get a refund back thats not too good...We did get a check though from my husbands VA and it feels good to have a little money in your pocket...We are going today and pick us out a new cell phone,we have a old one and we are getting a new flip phone and one that takes pictures,I cannot believe we are so far behind times with this old phone..I can hardly wait to go,I am excited...You said you went to the bead store,do you make jewerly? I bet your friend got a lot of good bargins at the Goodwill, they do have a lot of good stuff there.i always go to the local goodwill every chance i get...Well sounds like you girls are having fun..congrads on your refunds....

Unfortunately I won't have a refund this year .I work for a nursing agency who leaves the taxes up to worker which makes me self employed in the eyes of the wonderful I.R.S.

I e-filed back and February and got my refund in about a week. Its great to get it back so fast. Since I didn't get that much back I put my refund into paying off my bills.

I wish I had extra money that I just could buy things, I need so much but I never have enough money to pay my bills so that is where my refund money went to.

We done got our refund and spent it already back in Feb. Most of it went to pay back payments/late fees on the mortgage cause my hubby decided to shack up with a wh*re who only wanted him for his money and was telling him not to pay mortgage or child support. Now that I let him back on MY terms, he's trying his best to make it up to me for his stupidity.

Hey congratulations! I got mine a long time ago...I'm an early filer. And I'm so happy to hear that you actually enjoyed and treated yourself with that refund of yours. You deserved it for being a part of the working force!
I used my refund to add to my "new laptop fund". It helped a lot because I am now enjoying my new macbook.
