Who you are

I sometimes think about things I could have done and then decide if I am happy with who I am. I am thankful to say, yes, I am. I feel good about myself. There are down days, but I think everyone has one or two every once in awhile. But, I am really contented with who I have become over the years. I feel that I am a friendly person who is easy to approach. I do have my opinions and many of them I will not be moved fom, but I also respect the opinions of others. Even when there are times that i argue a point, I try to let the other person know that I do respect how they feel or think most of the time. I mean there are those who want to spread nothing but hatred for others who do not think like them and that is when you will see the monster come out in me, but I am even content with that side of me. I hope all of you find contentment in who you are.

What you say is so true. I am happy with myself most of the time but feel could better myself at others. My husband makes me feel great. Like you have my opinions too and let them be known to others. It is good to respect what others say too. I think the only thing I am not content with is my weight. I try to loose but it is so hard to do and I love my food so what do you do. Maybe in time life will bring everything that I need to be right. I love to meet new friends on internet and chat at parties they make me feel great.

My weight was a part of discontent for me one time. 4'11" and 230 lbs is what I was. I, like you love my food and certain kinds that I refused to live without. However, I have now lost over 100 lbs eating the foods I love. How? I measure my food. I allow the things I love, but in limited portions. That way, I "have my cake and eat it too". I hope you find a way to make this part of your life another thing you are contented with, whether you lose the weight or not. I will be here to encourage you every step of the way.

Yes I am thanks. I am pretty much a sterotype Taurus female, stubborn, hard working, passionate, loyal and stand by my convictions.

We sound alot alike, although I am an Aries female, and alot of what is said about that describes me...but sometimes when I read the whole thing, I think I am a cross between several signs lol Glad you are happy with who you are!

Only a few people have seen the monster in me and it's not very nice, usually I am very very placid, calm, easy going but back me into a corner, push me so far and I will turn, like a bull in a china shop. Everyone has a breaking point only ONE person knows how to push me and he has frequently seen the Mr Hyde side of me and no I don't like the person I become.

LOL...oh wolfie, somehow I have a hard time thinking that you could ever be a bull in a china shop, but just in case, I will make sure I don't push. DEAL?

I am happy with who I am ,even though I may be unhappy sometimes, I may not have good education, I may not have a good job and earn high income, in fact, I have to work hard to support my living, but no matter what happen, I am still who I am, I still have my friends and my family to support me and care about me, they are my most valuable assets in my life.

You have it right in my opinion. No matter how much money you make, it does not buy happiness. To be educated, while a good thing for career, is not needed to be truly happy. My parents, neither one, went higher than the 8th grade. They made a very happy life for us and themselves and to be honest, I have never met to smarter people in my life. All of the book knowledge in the world can't replace what they taught me about life.
