I was born in 1972 ~ which was a Year of the Rat. I just wondered if anyone out there knows what this signifies? What it's supposed to mean? In the traditional/American zodiac, I'm a Virgo ~ which I know signifies innocence and virginity. But does anyone out there know much about the Chinese zodiac system? I've always been curious ~ and I even have the Ty Beanie Baby of the Rat. Can anyone help me? :)

Well it looks like you got some lengthy descriptions of what your particular sign means... but Virgo doesn't represent in virginity in the terms of being sexually - um... well virgin. Check out this site http://www.novareinna.com/constellation/virgo.html And also a really good book to look at next time you are at the bookstore or library is "The Little Big Book of the Zodiac" - it has information on both American and Chinese Astrology. I'm a Pisces and a Monkey. And while I fit most of the Pisces traits - I'm not sure how fitting I am of the monkey (although monkeys are my favorite animals).
