Lost Wallet

I'd try find the owner if that didn't work I would hand it into the police. I would take one dime out of it, it's not my money! lol. I lost my wallet once it had all my rent money it. It was returned to me several weeks later with everything intact, I never have found the person who returned it to me but I am forever grateful.

I would check the wallet to get any contacting information about the owner then give him , if there's no contcating information in the wallet i would arrive it to any police office they can solve it by their ways :)

Yes, I have found a wallet before djdeep81. It had money it as well and identification. I felt bad for the owner and I just couldn't take the money, sorry. I looked his number up in the phone book called him and went to his house and gave him his wallet. He was so surprised about it and thanked me so much. I found money before without a wallet, it was 20 USD, I picked it up. And of course I spent it as well. I figured if someone lost it then they aren't going to know where he/she lost it. If it was a lot of money I would turn it to the police. Have a nice day. Pablo

Wallet? Definitely i will return that to the police station. That is wrong if i keep it. Even if i found money laying on the ground, i also don't keep it.

i try to find and contact the owner. if there's none and not a clue, i think ill keep it. but anyway, theres local supertitious saying : if its not meant to be yours, you'll lost more in the future than you keep. which i try not to believe it :)

Little things means a lot. If I found a wallet with cash in it, I have to return it to the owner especially if the wallet have I.D.'s. When I worked in a 5 star hotel before I found a wallet with no credentials on it and a lot of cash, what I did is I coordinated with our in house detective and give the unidentified wallet with cash to the in-charge of our lost and found corner. I can't imagine how happy was the owner that time, he was a german national and his gesture of goodwill was treating me to have a dive in Bohol, Cebu, Dumaguete up to Malaysia. Of course I'd accepted the expensive prize.

I always find ways to return the wallet that I found to its owner.I think every wallet have some identification keep by its owner and its vital to return it to them.Usually when i returned the wallet to its owner I will get something in reward for giving them back their wallet and keeping those valuable identifications on it.It's really a self rewarding and something to be proud of.

;) yes, definitely if i found a wallet with money inside, find the owner or just give it to the cops. sometimes there are crook cops too, you gave them the wallet and they just take the money inside but will still give the wallet back to the owner. They well just tell the poor guy, only wallet found but no money inside. :P The poor guy will probably be thankful enough because at least their ID card, driving license are still there. It's different though with money laying on the ground. Definitely a finders keeper. :D But if i bump into someone who are trying to find the money. I will just ask them how much he lost and if the money is the same sum as the money i've found, i just simply give it back to them. ^__^_v there's no use to give the money to cops or other people, believing that they are going to find the owner. :P I will consider it as my lucky day. :D i've lost my wallet twice though. lucky for me i've found it myself. The second time was stolen from me though but they just took the coins without realizing there's some notes folded and slip behind my id card. :p lucky enough to have found it on the sidewalk. It was late at night. :P
