Filipinos all over the world are again rejoicing for another superb win of the national pride and fist named MANNNNNYYYYYYY PACCCQQQQQQUIAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We are all rejoicing for this another successful bout. We are definitely world-class in the world of boxing.
my question is: DO YOU THINK THIS WILL TRANSLATE HIM INTO A CONGRESSMAN and successfully wrest the postion from a young and beautiful and intelligent Darlene?
On my part, its really so hard to decide on this matter. Good thing, I am not a registered voter of the place Manny is running hehehehehhehe.
Do you think he will knock-out Darlene in politics?

I'm afraid that Manny Pacquiao, although an epitome of a true Filipino with true-blue talent and values, would become a victim of politics. I live here in the U.S. but I'm a Filipino and I heard of his intention to run. I am worried that dirty traditional politicians might change this person, use him for their own benefit, and turn him into a puppet. They would most probably take advantage of the poor fellow because he's not so educated in politics, and would really like to help his countrymen -- so he's an easy target. I hope he realizes this. I hope he doesn't run. If he did, I'm quite sure he will win. We have a history of popularity factor in our electorate system. I just wish for the best outcome.

i'm worried about the same thing. it's seems pretty obvious that manny is just being used, and it's really sad that he's allowing himself to be used that way. i think the first time he announced he was going to run, he received boos from his very own fans. he may have a big heart, but it takes more than that to run a government.

Yes, it is a plus for him when he won the match. If he lost it will be a big blow to his election bid. His approval rating will go down.
He has a big chance of offsetting his rivals. He can use his charm to offset his rival beauty and intelligent. He can hire very good campaign manager. Money is not a problem. Another advantage he has is the current administration support his bid.
