When you were a kid, was there something that you really wanted to be when you grew up, but changed your mind as you got older? I love astronomy and stargazing. When I was in elementary school, I wanted to do something in that field. I went around telling everyone that I was going to be an astrophysicist when I grew up. As I got older, I realized that I'd rather just enjoy the beauty of the cosmos rather than try to analyze the composition and orbits of galaxies, stars, and planets. So now astronomy and stargazing is just a hobby when it used to be a childhood dream.

When I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher and that is what I became. I do have hobbies and I do enjoy stargazing and viewing the aurora borealis. Have saw Haley's comet when it passed and I have seen a shower of shooting stars. That is really cool!

That's so cool that you've seen the aurora. I'm not far enough north to be able to see it. I'm sure that it's an awesome site. Probably the most amazing thing I've ever been able to see was when I was taking an astronomy course in collage. I was able to see Saturn in a telescope. It was so cool. Though at the the angle I was looking at it, it looked like a big mug with the rings as the handles. LOL
