Do husbands know what exactly their wives expect from them when they(the wives) are: (a). ill (b). feeling helpless (c). facing a difficult situation at the work place/home ?

Nope. My husband hasn't learned to read my moods or needs. It's just not important to him, I guess. In all fairness, though, I am the type to try to fix or handle things myself. But it would be nice if he were more in tune with me and knew to step in and help me when I need it but am reluctant to ask.

If men are dull in understanding their spouses' needs or moods, do you think a little training will make them better husbands? I mean, instead keeping silence about your problems and not asking for help, what if you open your mind and ask for his support? May be this will open his eyes.

I don't think husbands know. i don't think most would know how to do it even if they did know what you wanted. You have to tell them everything.
