Nowadays there are alot of stay at home mom's and many people feel that it is a JOB however, there are many others (mostly men) that do not agree that being a stay at home mom is a job me and my husband knock heads on this subject all of the time I just don't think men understand what we do all day taking care of the kids, doing laundry, clean house, doctors appointments, ect. I have two sons 7 and 22 months and my husband thinks that me being a stay at home mom consist of watching tv, being on the computer, taking a nap and talking on the phone I asked him the other day if you believe thats what I do then how did you get those clothes clean? Anyways there is so much craziness in the house especially on the weekend when both kids are in the house I get stress sometimes and he ask me why I am stressed lol and then when its his day off and he starts getting stressed it okay but he still does not realize what I go through every day i told him if he was a stay at home dad then maybe he would understand So what's you opinion is being a stay at home mom a job?

i feel your pain. things with my husband are the same way. i think part of it he is jealous that i get to stay home all day with the kids. it is definetly a full time job. and its 24/7. stay at home moms don't get lunch breaks unless by some miracle both kids nap at the same time. i have 2 kids, 4 and 2. i babysit a one year old and i'm 6-1/2 months pregnant lol. my husband is the same way, he wonders why i'm stressed but he goes nuts after a few minutes of the constant questions from the 4 year old or the whinning of the 2 year old lol. and he'll get some housework done and say why can't you get this much done...well sure, but he doesn't do anything with the kids at the same time..or make their meals or help them or play games. lol. i think the goverment should come up with some sort of pay for stay at home moms lol.
