Have you had any success in reporting abusers?

I ask because I see tons of posts that are blatant attempts at exploiting the system. I've tried reporting a few, but they seem to endure. I'm just curious as to whether or not any of you folks have reported something that has been subsequently removed. Should I continue to report?
