the 80s...oh how it never goes away...anyone remember dance party usa?

do you remember the show dancy party usa? i used to love that show in the mid to late 80s. i was a guest on it a few times and had such a blast. this is the show that kelly ripa started out on. when i met her on the show..she was a stuck up little snob. she was about 18 yrs old. i was 15 i think. i didnt like her one bit. then fast forward to 1991...i am switching channels and started watching all my children and there she was. it was one of her first days on air. i was cursing at the screen!! but now..i can deal with her on tv. i actually think she isnt too bad..on tv. i am pretty sure she is probably still a little snobby, like many celebs are. the 80s were such a crazy time too. anytime an 80s song comes on the radio or tv..my kids start to laugh. my daughter, who is 10, always says..man you are old to remember that...lol. i am 33 so i am not ancient. but the good old days...oh the 80s. how do you all feel about the good old 80s??
