I have been hearing different versions and different ways of computing the age of dogs in "dog years" compared to humans and I really don't know whom to believe. Can anyone know it correctly? Please help. Thanks in advance.

10.5 dog years per human year for the first 2 years, then 4 dog years per human year for each year after that. OnlineConversion.com

Thanks for adding the source. Right now, i have three different versions. So my question now still stays. Which one is the right one to follow?

The last dog I had lived 17 years. A friend of mine their dog lived over 20 years I know that's a long time. I don't know about the dog years I have heard it's between 5 or 7 years I am not for sure.

I'm studying in a veterinarian class and it is true that dogs age 7 years in 1 human year. My two dogs are 3 and 4 in human years so they would be 21 and 28 years old in dog years.
