birthday/special occasion

have you ever experienced the time when you wake up the following day and its your birthday! and yet not even a family member have remember it? i did once when weret ravelling with my husband ..its his official business and he let me go with him to be able to at least travel and have fun at the same time ... i woke up and later realize that its my birthday ..i nearly forgot myself about it..but the sad thing was even my hubby forgot it too and even my children at home...it was later in the afternoon that i received a call from them greeting me..perhaps my husband reminded them since i was greeted only by him later in the morning...i was used being greeted as soon as i wake up..they even surprises me with a greeting and try waking me up in the process..its how close we are in our family..do share your experiences on this plss..

No I haven't fortunately people usually remember though I had to remind my mum it was our anniversary yesterday. I have been married to my husband for 4 years now, but he didn't get me a card because we don't have much money right now I did make him a card though.

it's a really sad thought. i'm lucky enough to not experience that yet. my brother did.. and i was the one who remembered.
we were raised in a family that birthdays and other special occasions are big deals and are anticipated, that's why it's really painful for my brother to experience this.
i know my family or at least my mom would never forget that it's my birthday, but my special someone always does. well, aside from last year because we had something planned for it. i just hope that he won't forget it this year.

i dont know if my children or family remember always my birthday..because if it is near i always remind them for it and what would they like to eat on such occasions.
