Hi vanities, i personally do not support the idea of my boys going to a day care centre. Then again, i sort of know some of the reasons why my friends do send their children there.
Convenience is a major factor because both parents work and are out of the house. So, children in day care from 7am to 7pm, are also out of the house like their parents.
Some cite the social values and responsibility that the children acquire throughout their stay in day care. Able to feed themselves, dress themselves, communicate better and also are more sociable.
To me, parents are the first teachers. And for parents to miss out on a child's growing years, they are basically missing the whole point of parenthood. Then again, who says money is not important in raising a family? On the other hand however, how MUCH money is snough to raise a family? - Lyn

for me that kind of situations is expensive one..but if they cant afford then its up to them...in my own view i like my children to be teach by my wife or me in their earliest age inorder to have a good foundation of what we would like them to be in the near future..
