Do you prefer medications such as those bought at stores such as Walgreens, Walmart, and other such chains or do you prefer alternative natural approaches such as herbs, vitamins, homeopathic therapies and such?

I actually prefer vitamins and other herbal supplements that boost the immune system. I don't skimp when it comes to vitamins and food supplements because it whats keep me going during the day no matter how busy I am. When I get home I still have chores and have to spend quality time with my children.

I agree with you 100%. I can really tell that the vitamins help because on the days that I forget or just don't take them I notice a very steep energy drop.

Yeah me too! I usually feel tired by sundown whenever I forget to take my vitamins but when I take them, I am still full of energy when I get home and can still do a lot of things. I take specific vitamin specifically for women and food supplements that are all natural. Thank you very much for choosing me as the best response!

Both. I buy medications for treatment and those supplements/natural products for prevention. Anything that work then it is fine for me regardless what type of medicine or approach...

Which medication I take depends on the need itself. For common colds and pains, I would prefer medications from stores and pharmacies. As for maintenance, I would prefer alternative natural approaches. This is a more holistic approach for long-term wellbeing. Normal medication is for short term relief. I believe in a combination of both western and alternative medicine.

I try to avoid medication such as the ones bought in the pharmacies. When I was a kid, we were six brothers and sisters and my mom used to treat us with herbs when we had a cold or fever... She always used natural treatments. I don't use any medications. If I have a headache I just try to lay down and let it pass. But my husband is the opposite: he has a headache, he takes aspirin or Ibuprofen. He has a cold he runs to the pharmacy to get medication for that. Well he also uses vitamins and I kind of started doing that too especially calcium pills. But I read lately in an article published on CNN that there is no scientific evidence that the vitamin supplements help in any way. In fact it's even dangerous if you take many. Pharmacy labs and the media did a good job to make people believe that vitamins supplements is a must for us to stay healthy. Almost everybody here in the US takes vitamins.
