what do you think is the best linux distro or flavor out there?

I have tried linux before and am willing to install again in the future. I have tried KNOPPIX, UBUNTU, FEDORA, MADRIVA even SLAX, BEATRIX i think which are LIVE versions of LINUX. KNOPPIX is also a live version one that boots from CD.
