what is a dipper?! this is a small container which we filipinos love to use when we take a bath or use water (this is the container on top of the drum= water container). in filipino, we call this "tabo".
there was this one site which says that you are a filipino if you use "tabo" in taking a bath...
so now here i am again mylotters, asking you this question. do you know what a "tabo" is? have you used one? is it true that we filipinos are the only ones who use it? or do you have another term for this thing?

I don't think you'll ever find a Filipino home with no water dipper. I didn't know that was the English term for it.
I'm not sure if we, Filipinos, are the only ones using it but I read in a book (The Beach - yes, where Leonardo starred in the movie) that some foreigners find it disgusting just as some Filipinos find bathroom tissues disgusting.

i'm not really sure if its the right term for that :) i don't see anything disgusting about that. but i do hope to receive some feedbacks from those who are not using our 'tabo'.
