IS 300 usual movie?

Well its a excellent movie and i loved the graphics and story. Its beautifully done and extraordinary movie.

As an English Major studying mythology, I see 300 as a movie about how myth is created. In the movie, the battle is fought by the Spartans and is told by the one guy with the eye patch. Now, at the end, you realize that the whole story was simply a telling of the event from his eyes so one cannot truly understand what happened since the narrator is biased. 300 is not trying to be historically accurate, it is simply trying to tell a story, and, although it was overdone in term of cinematography, the story is told quite well.
