Do you believe in poaching?

I don't believe it is right to kill without cause. If you intend to eat the animal, then I think you'd have to kill to survive. We been taught this throughout time. "Kill or be killed." What is the sense in killing for profit? I see it as a war of the worlds; animal and man. An animal makes no profit in monetary form, just leader of the pack. Is this the connection? The more money you have, equals the more powerful you are? What are your thoughts? Are you for or against poaching?

The word poaching smacks of illegality and i usually try to avoid illegal activities. In my country, poaching does take place in areas like national game parks and gazetted game reserves. Those caught poaching are often dealt with very brutally and this could even result to shooting on sight! Somtimes I agree absolutely with this kind of hard line approach because some treasured animals our forefathers left to live for us to see are now being threatened by extinction. Poachng becomes lucrative if its commercialized, so I feel poaching is a vice that must be stopped at all costs. Governments can gazzette hunting grounds where communities can go and harvest wild life for meat-but this should be outside national parks!

i am definitely against poaching. i hate poachers. as a matter of fact, i hope they all die for doing those things to those defenseless animals. when god created man to watch over the animals and be superior to them, he doesnt mean to kill them just to earn a quick buck. they are one of the many reasons why animal go instinct. the lesser they get, the more expensive they get. kill them all, damn poachers.

I think if the kiling is for you to stay alive and eat the animal, then I don't see anything wrong with it. But, I am against it when the killing is for sport and not survival.

Poaching does not refer to just killing an animal for profit. It refers to killing an animal out of hunting season or one that is illegal to hunt. Or if you do not have an appropriate hunting liscense. Therefore it is against the law. And of course I am against it. I am against the exploitation of any animal. Recently I was driving to Florida to visit family. I stopped for gas at one of these tourist trap places. Since it was a long drive I decided to smooze my way through the store to give myself a little driving break. In the back corner there was a huge display of alligator heads. Adults and juvenile sizes. Farm raised american aligator heads for sale. I walked right out. Now I realize these are probably the heads of aligators who's meat has been sold for consumption. And I suspect if you are going to kill it, you might as well use the entire animal. But it still sickens me. Come to florida and leave with an aligator head. I feel the same way when I see shark jaws for sale. I mean have we become so barbaric that we need a part of animal hanging on our walls? Ok, I kind of digressed there, sorry. But yes, I am absolutly against poaching.

Poaching of wildlife species or the illegal killing of animals occurs worldwide for many different reasons. Animals are killed illegally for their meat, skins and internal organs as well as, for sport and accidental killing it. I don't believe that anyone has the right to poach.

erm.. actually i'm against poaching.... i think no humans have the right to kill animals.. even it's for living purposes.. it makes no difference when you killed someone just because you're desperate to.. animals too.. are created by god.. that's what we believe.. we're considered one family.. do we have the rights to kill our own family member? i think human is the one doing sins compared to other being..

I think, first it's equal to rights for any typical animals to living around with human environment and it 's naturl rules that anyone couldn't destroy it.Certainly, second human for living continous the sake,it's not avoiding something that man must adopt material from animals or kill a little part of animals . so,i think that it best way to keep balance bio-typical between human and animals.

Nope. I don't believe any animal should be killed unless they are dying of something terrible and cannot recover. Every animal deserves life just like humans. I do think many people believe that money is how they are rated in power. Many people do anything to get power.

yes i also had the same opinon as like you. killing the animals for food or any thing is cruel.the wildlife products traded illegally like musk of deer for cosmetics, bear for skin and bear bile, elephant tusk for ivory etc are killed for our own uses.it is estimated that quantum of trade in wildlife products is just next to narctics, valued nearly 20 billion dollars in the global.thats the position now .if We cant give birth to any animals with out the blessing of the god we cant have right to take there life.its my opinon

No I dont agree with poaching at all. I think its unfair and unhumaine to kill animals for certain body parts for show or illegal sales. Although I eat meat all the time I think you should only kill an animal in the wild if your in a situation where you need to survive and you need to eat or defend yourself but other then that no way I agree with it.

I'm against any kind of hunting unless it's done for the purpose of eating the animal. Like you I don't believe it's right to kill without cause. These people that hunt for the "fun" of it just give me the creeps. I've always thought there's something very wrong with someone who gets their kicks from killing an animal.

I am completely against poaching and hunting. So many men here do it for sport. Then they have the animal stuffed and put it in their homes, bars etc and tell all these "wonderful stories". I also know the game reserves here cull animals to cut down numbers, I don't understand this either as the big game reserves have loads of land and plenty for the animals to eat. Maybe they are worried the animals will take over the vegetation. People come from overseas for a lion kill etc. It breaks me up!

Yes I would agree with you here 100% as I don't understand why people kill without cause either. I do understand that we have to kill to be able to eat, but not just for profit. I do not believe just because you have so much money that this should and will give you the power you need. I am against poaching a hundred percent.

I'm against poaching of anykind ponch. For 2 cents I would be against eating anything that was a living thing, but in today's world, that's a bit difficult. Sure, one could become a vegetarian but I believe God gave us a list of animals we could eat and the means and ways to kill them. If He hadn't meant for us to eat them, He would have said so.
