Dysmenorrhea = SUFFERING!!!

I really dread the days when I have my period. From the start I already have this menstrual cramps up until now. It's really painful and most of the time I would just lie in bed, crying. I also tend to vomit most of the time, during my so called "dysmenorrhea moments". I really pray hard to God that this would stop because it's affecting my life already. It affects my studies and it had kept me from enjoying my days. I have consulted a doctor already and she just gave me a prescripted drug. At first my mom won't allow me to take medicine because it would have a side effect on my body, but then I just can't take the pain anymore so my mom had no choice. I really hope this would stop.

So thats what it is. I never new what it was called. I have been having them since i was about 15, thankfully they only last the first day of the period of me but they are so severe i find myself drop to the floor no matter where i am when i get a cramp because i cant stand the pain. My fella had to witness this for the first time yesterday and i felt sorry just watching him watching me and knowing there was nothing he could do but just hug me and let me know he loved me while i was screaming. I tried to keep it as light as i could as i didnt want to scare him but all i wanted to do was cry. Even though i have it every month, it never gets easier to deal with. Don't you think?

I think you have to consult your doctor, maybe he can give you medications. That's what I did and it indeed helped a lot. Good luck to us both.

I pity you girls that you have to suffer from this every month. I would like to share this to both of you = first you should calendar when will be your first day, 2nd don't ever take a bath in the first day all you can do is shampoo your hair, use a small towel to clean your body, u can wash it under but dont ever take a shower just for the first day. Some of my friends who suffered dysmenorrhea tried this and it works for them. I hope you could try and there's no harm in trying... Good luck!!
