How do you pronounce the letter H?

I couldn't resist posting another question about pronunciation ;-) So, how do you pronounce the letter 'h'? Aitch or haitch? I've noticed lots of people put an 'h' in front of the word even though it's supposed to be pronounced aitch. Do you?

i pronounce it aitch as i think this is the correct way to say it

So was I. And I find it a bit annoying when people say haitch.

When I am pronouncing the name of the letter I say "aich" but when I pronounce a word that starts with an AICH I pronounce the H sound, whereas some accents drop it. For example, I say "Hot Dog" whereas someone with a friend accent might say "Ot Dog," not pronouncing the phonetic sound.

That's a good idea for another discussion! I don't drop my 'h's but I know lots of people that do.
