What is your idea about BELGIUM.... (my country)

What do you think of Belgium? I know it is a very small country, but still... we are famous for a lot of things. Even sometimes infamous. I admit it is a strange country ;-) Do you know Belgium ? Let me know your opinions and ideas about our little kingdom... I will answer to them in the best possible way!

In our country it is said: "Calm like a Belgian", don't know why. Are you really so calm? :D

MMMMMmmmmm, nice thing to say... I think we are as calm as most other people, but it is still a nice saying.... What country are you from ?

Well, I am not from Belgium, but i live here for almost 3 years now and i understand why they say that belgians are so calm people. They are and that's why i like them. They can wait in the queue without complain (something impossible for my country) for hours.

I HAVE SPENT SOME TIME IN YOUR WONDERFUL COUNTRY WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER IN THE 70's (LONG TIME AGO I KNOW). i WENT TO SCHOOL IN ANTWERPEN AND OUR FAMILY SPENT SOME GOOD TIMES EXPLORING YOUR COUNTRY. MEMORIES THAT HAVE STUCK ALL THESE YEARS: FRITES WITH MAYONNAISE - WAFFLES - BELGIAN CHOCOLATES - WONDERFUL PASTRIES - AND THE ONE THAT MOST IMPRESSED MY OLDER BROTHER WAS THE WOMEN IN THE WINDOWS IN THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT. I STILL HAVE 2 BELGIAN FRIENDS THAT LIVE IN BRUSSELLS AND ANTWERPEN.
