How do you improve you vocabulary? Is there a special technique you can share?

I like to read. It helps too! If you read a word you're not familiar with, take a break & look it up in the dictionary. College classes help a lot too! And having friends who are smarter than you ~ people who like to share ideas. They can help you increase your vocabulary as well.

Also ~ there are some books that are designed specifically to help people increase their vocabulary. You can ask your librarian or local bookseller.
