desktop or laptop: which do you prefer?

I like laptops more because they are more mobile and you can move around with it. Go sit in front of the tv with a fave show going for background noise. Or you can bring it to your room for nice and quiet. Or you can bring it ouside for fresh air! =P The only thing that bothers me about laptops is the "mouse." Sometimes it is annoying to have to work with that.

I like both but I love the mobility of a laptop. I had one my first few years of college. Once it became rather outdated I got a new computer as a gift from my mom...well it was a bet and I won...so she owed me a new computer. So I had a desktop for a while. This past Christmas, my boyfriend got me a latptop and I forgot how wonderful they are!!! It's great to sit in bed with it or in front of the tv. We have a wireless set-up and I can access music on my boyfriends computer. I can print stuff from any room I choose. It's nice. you can also take it on vacation. I would not want to do that with a desktop! hehe

I prefer laptop over desktop. All the while since I started working, I am a laptop user. My company provides me with laptop the very day I started work with them and I buy a laptop for my personal use as well. I like the flexibility that the laptop provides me, which I can work or use the computer anywhere I want in the house and well as outside the house. And the data is always with me in my laptop harddisk, I can use it as and when I need it. That is very convenient. I set up a wireless network in my house thus I and my family members can use it anywhere we want, in the room, in the lounge room or even on the bed
