We are experiencing a really bad storm here in my corner of the world expected to last for three days. The power was out for over 3 hours tonight i believe it could go again soon. Lots of rain and high winds and localized flood warning which is new for our region we usually dont get any flooding and tide surges and we live right on the ocean here in Nova Scotia Canada pretty much surrounded by water where i live. Usually in stormy weather i feel contented doing stuff in the house and spending quality time with my kids but lately i feel a little nervous and somewhat scared i wonder why that is. How do you feel when the weather is really bad? What are some things you like to do when you are house bound in the weather? And what are some ways to indure a power outage?

Oh dear I hate it when we get this kind of weather we have not had it for around a month now but it gets really scary at times. You see you already had the power out for 3 hours, the weather has been very badly hitting some countries I have seen on the news. Oh some of the storms lately have been scary we had one night here they were really scary I don't mind the rain but when you have thunder over the top of your home you really know about it and it is dreadful. To stop a power surge you have to turn off all your electricity while the storm is going on and once it has passed then you can turn it back on again.
